# Patient Universe

> Patient Universe is a white-label community platform for patient advocacy groups (PAGs), built and hosted by Esperity (Brussels, Belgium). Each patient organisation gets its own branded, moderated online community page where patients and carers can talk, learn, meet and take part in research.

## What it is
- Multi-tenant platform: one platform, many patient organisations, each with its own community page (patientuniverse.com/pag/<organisation>).
- Each organisation chooses which modules to switch on and manages members, content and moderation itself.
- Built for health-related communities, with privacy and moderation built in.

## Modules
- Discussions: moderated community feed with photos, polls, reactions, flagging and a moderation queue.
- Private groups: peer groups per condition or profile (e.g. carers, young patients), open or approval-based.
- Educational content: rich articles curated by the organisation.
- Events: webinars and meetups with in-platform or external registration.
- Questionnaires: survey builder with question types, branching logic and pooled results.
- Forms: shareable forms with Excel export.
- Clinical trials: embedded trial finder.
- Announcements, boosts and optional private messages.

## Privacy and safety
- Members can use generated anonymous usernames.
- Passwordless sign-in by email link, or Google.
- Field-level encryption of posts, comments and contact messages.
- Available in English, French, Dutch and Spanish.
